I am on a Linux box with Python 2.7.1. I have a fresh install of Eclipse 3.7.
I just installed PyDev 2.2.1. Initially, root could see the PyDev plugin but
a normal user received an error about not having access to a manifest file.
I fixed that by doing a 'chmod -R g+r,o+r features plugins' in the eclipse
dropins
directory. However a normal user still does not see the plugin. If I start
eclipse and select Window -> Preferences from the top menu, PyDev does not
appear.

Does anyone have a fix for this?

Thanks,
Frank
