I was a bit confused by this guy's note to webmaster. At first I thought he
was having PyPI problems, but now I think he's having Mailman problems.

Is there a PyPI developer on the pydotorg(-www)? mailing list who can triage
in case it is PyPI-related?

-So pleased to have a future as a pythonista.

If I can get through the following:

1. I never get the email to confirm my registration and login at the
website. For some reason, I can log in and get my username at the top of
the page. The problem is that is seems like functionality is missing when I
try to register a package. ( I have tried the reister command and the
browse for the pkg-info file.)

2. When I replied to the confirmation email to the email list for the
cop.lang.python group, I got the following reply

3.Internal Server Error

4. The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was
unable to complete your request.

5. Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and
inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done
that may have caused the error.

6. More information about this error may be available in the server
error log.

7.

8. Apache/2.2.16 (Debian) Server at wiki.python.org Port 80

This was at 10:15 EST. My reply was sent from Outlook 2007. Did my failure
to fully complete registration have anything to do with this. Doubt.

If this is worth your help. This is the kind of thing that
trips me up before I can really get started. I am trying to follow along
with the Head First Python book.

Thanks,

 Dave
