The last item is not true: Tarek is not the author (that’s Ian Bicking) nor one of the current maintainers. The item should however mention that Tarek forked distutils as distutils2 and started a new package manager inside distutils2: pysetup. This will be the first package manager to ship with standard Python (in 3.3).
