At the top of the page (https://wiki.python.org/moin/CheeseShopTutorial) it has:
*A short introduction on how to install packages from the Python Package Index (PyPI) <http://pypi.python.org/pypi>, and how to make, distribute and upload your own.* *This guide is no longer being maintained - more up to date and complete information is in the Python Packaging User Guide <https://python-packaging-user-guide.readthedocs.org/en/latest/>.* The link to Python Packaging User Guide is https://python-packaging-user-guide.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ but it 404's, does not exist. The correct link address took a little bit of digging. It is: https://packaging.python.org/ Also I suggest putting "*This guide is no longer being maintained" *as the first line on the page.
