Mats/Team:
Yep, forgot password is exactly what I mean. No I did not use OpenID. I
did try my working python.org email j...@techsolx.com, but it doesn't
work on the wiki.
If there is anyone who can send me a reset token for the wiki, and or
update the email, great. If not can the user name just be deleted and
I'll start over. I understand it sounds, hacky to delete someone...but
I am not sure what else to try.
Humbly,
John

I have lost access to my account. I attempted email recovery to the
last know email addresses for my username, including this one to no
avail. The account may exist with the now defunct meetup group,
associated email address, j...@pythontricities.org
<mailto:j...@pythontricities.org>.
I attempted to re-create the account but my user name still exists,
and of course I can’t.
I am not sure how to proceed. I would like to remove the older group
I started, it is no longer active, and start a new group at my new
location.

By lost access, do you mean forgot password? Most of us here can't
help with that, although I think there are some who do. The reset
indeed isn't going to work if you no longer have access to the email
that was registered, if you used that form - I can't see those details.
Your wiki name is still in the editors list, so if you can get
authenticated, you do have the ability to make changes.
If you used an OpenID provider to connect originally, that technology
never seems to be working for the wiki ((though I don't know what the
"official" status is considered to be), so not sure what to advise for
that case.
