Dear all,

I am now trying to convert an OpenFOAM case to Pyfr, but the conversion of
some boundary conditions I am not quite sure.

In my knowledge, for symmetry plane, the normal velocity is zero and the
normal gradient of other variables are zero as well. For slip wall, normal
velocity is zero and no effect on parallel velocity as well as viscous
force is zero.
I think they are the same.

So My question is how to interpret "symmetry" boundary conditions for
curved planes or planar planes in Pyfr, can I directly convert "symmetry"
with "slip wall" in Pyfr?

By the way, I do not find anything about temperature when dealing with
compressible flow. How to make temperature visible or should I calculate by
myself to get temperature variable?

Thank you for your time.

Regards,
Sam
