Terminology nitpick: in physics, speed is a scalar, velocity is a vector. So these are all velocities, not speeds.
That's weird, in spanish (my primary language) the translation of speed is "velocidad", and so is velocity, i tought they were synonyms. But I understand the difference you say, thanks :) This group is great :D
