[...] I just tried nearly any combination with clean installs of pygame rev. 1127 for both, python 2.4 and 2.5 on a FreeBSD RELENG_7 installation and could not recreate that behaviour - independent of whether the .pyc files were left or not. All's nice and shiny here. If no one else can recreate that behaviour, I'd say it's a broken python, pygame or Win98 installation ;-). Regards Marcus
