I can reproduce the problem (on vista), but it looks like an idle problem,
not really a vista problem

when running the script, "__file__" is "C:\Python25\Lib\idlelib\idle.pyw"

so "libdir" becomes "C:\Python25\Lib\idlelib\lib"
