On the other hand, I'm always distracted and I dislike even very small tearing while playing or watching video on linux, so I guess that it's just a matter of taste. My advice, if you want to make an enjoyable experience for everyone, you should try to make tearing disappear, or at least minimize it. thanks! -- alecu
