Hi,
I'm not sure exactly what you want... but you can use HSV colours with
pygame.Color too if you need:
http://www.pygame.org/docs/ref/color.html#Color.hsva
I think the code that Christopher does a linear interpolation between red
and violet... which sounds like what you want.
