No real experience really.  I'm happy to lend a hand a little bit. The only
thing I'm looking for really is an interest in pygame, and in helping to
improve it :)

There is a patch by Piotr now for one of the gfxdraw issues.  A maintainer
would make patches like that, but also review them, test them, and apply
them if they are good.  Maybe collaborate with other people improving it,
and perhaps asking users about problems.
