There are a number of PyWeek games made with pygame that I would consider at least as polished as Nelly's Rooftop Garden. Looking down the list of highest-rated games <http://www.pyweek.org/all_games/>, I notice that Which Way is Up, Sudo Science, Walkway, Trip on the Funny Boat, 20,000 Light Years into Space, Robot Toast, Topologiquill, and Stringrolled were all made with pygame, as far as I know. I'm not sure what the criterion is for "professional-quality", though.
