There is no reason they should not work like the ones  in Vpython...

Drawing a sphere in openGL can be as simple as calling gluSphere(...)
So all I have to do is wrap these calls in nice python classes that
let us easyly set their properties...

I hope to have time to do this soon, its much more fun than my day
job... ;-)
