I have been following the progress of Pyglet for the past 5 or 6 months and I have to say that I am extremely impressed. Alex, you have done a wonderful job with this library. I am a long time user of Pygame, and while I think it is still a pretty good library, I have always felt awkward coding with it. The metaphors of SDL don't hold up well in Python. Pyglet is much simpler, well-designed, and Pythonic.
To kick off what I hope will be a number of contributions to Pyglet, I have coded up a little module to make 2D physics prototyping more convenient, Playground. Playground is very basic and provides a couple of simple shapes and actions to help get your ideas about physics interactions on screen quickly. Playground combines the Drawing Primitives module here on pyglet-users with the Pymunk library. I will be adding more functionality to Playground in the coming weeks.
