pyglet 1.0 has just been uploaded. http://www.pyglet.org/download.html
This version represents the developers' confidence that pyglet is ready for production work. The latest Beta release had over 1500 downloads (not including documentation), representing a large testing base across many hardware configurations running Windows XP, Linux and Mac OS X. There are also some changes in this release: * Improved text rendering on Windows (inter-glyph spacing is better) * Several bug fixes relating to audio playback of sequential sources * The OS X installer now correctly locates all common distributions of Python * Support for Linux systems without an accessible ldconfig As well as some minor bug fixes; see the CHANGELOG at http://pyglet.googlecode.com/svn/tags/pyglet-1.0/CHANGELOG for a complete list. Many of the great ideas posted on this list for pyglet were put on hold after the Beta phase started; these are now back on the table as pyglet 1.1 development begins (continues, really) in earnest. I look forward to hearing your suggestions, as well as seeing what applications and games are developed with pyglet. Screenshots of your projects can be added to the pyglet.org homepage by creating a page in the pyglet-users web space at http://groups.google.com/group/pyglet-users/web. When there's a larger collection of these I'll set up a "gallery" on the website for public display of all pyglet projects. Thanks for all your (much needed and appreciated) help so far, Alex. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "pyglet-users" group.
