That you want to avoid other dependencies than Python is exactly why I chose 
pyglet. 

I know I'm not the greatest of hackers, but maybe some others think along the 
same lines. 

A pure Python codebase is a great value to me, and I just wanted to state my 
support for the way you took till now.
