Greetings, I've been working on my 2D point n' click adventure game engine and it is coming along very nicely. One thing I have noticed is that I have to animate characters myself in an animation program (like moho). Since 90% of the NPCs are just standing on street corners, etc, it would be great to generate a default "idle" animation of a character just swaying slighting in place from a single "idle" image. This could be done with a basic skeleton deformation system. Unfortunately I'd have no idea where to begin. Anyone got any ideas on how to do some image deformation? I know that's a fairly general question! haha
