I can't reproduce the problem on my Ubuntu/Pulse box.  Could you set
the environment variable PYGLET_DEBUG_MEDIA to 1, and send me the
output of a run that breaks (for both ALSA and OpenAL)?  Please also
attach the alsa.log file that will be generated.

Note that the media module has been more or less rewritten for pyglet
1.2.  If you're able to, try your test with current SVN trunk (note
that many other pyglet apps currently fail against trunk, but this
example works for me).  I'll be especially interested to see the debug
output of trunk if it fails.  (You'll want to re-enable PulseAudio for
this, as 1.2 uses PulseAudio instead of the ALSA user library).
