Can someone point me on the right direction. I want to write a python code to encode or to save a webcam feed in video format (any). I want to record whatever I can see on a webcam feed. I need that the encoder break it (the feed) in small videos, and save it with time stamp name (time+date) every 5minutes for example. Other problem that I need to overcome is to save the current feed when the connection falls, without loosing it. Where do I start. Thanks for the help, English, Portuguese, Spanish informations are welcome.
