I recently (re-)discovered pyglet and to explore the library a little
bit and because it scratched an itch I had, I wrote a small application,
which I called "Impromptu".

Impromptu displays a pseudo HTML file in a window and scrolls it up- or
downwards in a controllable speed. Sort of like a teleprompter or a
graphical less (1) with automatic scrolling.

I thought this might serve as nice example of a simple, reasonably small
application based on pyglet. Read more about it here:
