I've spent quite a bit of time merging in Micah Richert's work that he did producing a more up-to-date version of AVbin about a year ago. Binary packages are now beginning to emerge (see https://github.com/AVbin/AVbin/downloads for files).
The only notable change is that the version of FFmpeg is about 1.5 years newer than the one in AVbin 7. (Which means more and better support for video/audio formats, I would imagine). Here's a quick rundown of the status of the various platforms with respect to version 8-beta2: OS X x86-64: RELEASED OS X x86-32: Not yet attempted OS X ppc-32: No longer supported Linux x86-64: Fixed compilation errors, stuck on linking error. Linux x86-32: Not yet attempted. Win64: Not yet attempted Win32: RELEASED (boy, was this one a pain in the neck) An interesting side note: I found how to obtain a list of exactly which audio/video codecs are supported during each build. It's a very, very large list. ~ Nathan -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "pyglet-users" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
