Before thinking it's Pyglet that's the problem, did you ever have another 
version of python installed on your machine?  Is this windows 7 64bit? 
32bit? or xp?  Open up regedit.exe, go to 
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Python.   What is listed under there?  Is it 
just 2.7?
