With your fix, pygr doesn't seem to run on Python 2.3 any more. Is
that correct?
On my Mac, which runs Python 2.3, I get the following error:
File "/Users/jenny/Desktop/pyensembl-0.1.0/pygr/seqdb.py", line 12

^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax
