In the meantime I installed the version suggested by Istvan but the
problem is still there.

I am afraid that the problem has maybe something to do with my
installation of python (I recently installed xy-Python (http://
www.pythonxy.com/foreword.php)).
If I start a new python console from the 'dos windows', import
pygr.seqdb works well. Then I quit python and I run my program, which
raises the ImportError: 'cannot import name seqdb'.
Finally if I return in a new python console I am not able to import
seqdb anymore (same ImportError) !

Could you recall me which is the python command that allows to know
from which directory python is loaded ? I would like to verify that
there no another python installed.

Michel
