I have added this and the ByteA patch to the future.txt document so it
will not be forgotten since I don't know whether D'Arcy or I will have
time to care for this right now.

Anyway, I think we need a way to keep track of such patches and bug
reports (and it would be good to have another developer, too ;-)).
D'Arcy, how about using http://gborg.postgresql.org/project/pygresql/
for bug/patch tracking (or closing it completely)?
BTW, speaking about changes in pgmodule.c I also would like to have the
possibility to access SQLSTATE.
