That's probably sensible.  But while we are talking about new versions,
one of my ideas for new versions is more of a meta idea. I would really
like to see todo items and bug reports come in as unit tests.  I know
that that will be impossible to achieve 100% but we have a nice unit
test structure now and I would like to see us use it more.

In the meantime, if anyone wants to download the beta and test it,
running the unit tests on your system is an excellent way to start and
it is an easy way to help the project find problems before we release.

That would be nice.  Unfortunately I have no Windows systems here to
test things on so any Windows help from the community is much
appreciated.
