The first error message I get is 'Python.h: No such File or directory'. I imagine that is a problem.
The system I need to build this on is a tweaked Red Hat distribution. It didn't come with python source So I've unzipped this into an area on the machine and Included this path with the -I option when compiling. I don't think I have the correct python source? - Matt -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Christoph Zwerschke Sent: Monday, May 08, 2006 2:05 PM To: PyGreSQL Development Subject: Re: [PyGreSQL] linux rpm package Love, Matt schrieb: > I have tried installing from the source without success, and > Would like to try the RPM package. For the time being, you can also download a Linux RPM from http://www.pygresql.org/~cito/. The problem with the RPM package is that it depends on the correct paths to your PostgreSQL libs, a compatible version of glibc and rpmlib and processor architecture (i586 in this case) and maybe some other things. Which Linux distribution are you using? Which error message do you get when you try to install from source? -- Christoph _______________________________________________ PyGreSQL mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.vex.net/mailman/listinfo/pygresql This message and any attachments are intended only for the use of the addressee and may contain information that is privileged and confidential.
