Sure. I think we even had an open issue for that in the Pygres Trac. Unfortunately the whole development stalled, but I'm still motivated to work on this and other open issues from our Trac.
However, we need to first clarify the state of the project repository and Trac. The last thing I heared was that the SVN repository was lost and when I just checked, both SVN (http://www.pygresql.org/viewvc.cgi/pygresql/) and Trac (http://trac.vex.net:8000/pgtracker) didn't work.
