Ok, the test_pg module has now been completely overhauled in r537-r549.
Instead of a single test module we now have 4 test_modules:
* TEST_PyGreSQL_classic_functions.py
* TEST_PyGreSQL_classic_connection.py
* TEST_PyGreSQL_classic_largeobj.py
* TEST_PyGreSQL_classic_dbwrapper.py
Some tests that had been missing have now been added, particularly the
tests for direct socket access and large objects.
I'm pretty pleased with the result and we now have a much better starting
point for doing larger refactorings and porting to Python 3.
