Today I went through the tickets in our Trac.

If you look at the roadmap (http://trac.vex.net:8000/pgtracker/roadmap) you see that all tickets in the 4.2 milestone have been closed. So 4.2 is ready to be released as far as I'm concerned.

Only 6 open tickets remain in the 5.0 milestone. This is the first version that supports Python 3 and has some nice new features such as copy_from/to() and the new upsert() method. So it would be good to get it out as soon as possible, at least as an alpha or beta version.

I still have to look into the 6 remaining tickets and estimate how much work they are. All of them look important and it would be nice to have them in 5.0 already, but if they are too much effort, we need to postpone them to 5.1.
