I have just commited some changes to gnome-python to make it compile with
the latest gtk+ and stable branch of gnome-libs. There have been some
wierd things going on that may have something to do with the thread
support that was recently added.

I kept on getting core dumps in the pygtk examples when using the pixmap
theme, but those went away when I switched back to default theme. For my
pygnome examples, they seem to hang, and don't seem to hang and not do
anything. I can't seem to attach a debugger to the process and control+C
doesn't seem to terminate them like expected.

My setup is the standard python that comes with RH5.1 (pretty standard, no
thread support).

If anyone can test out the code in the gnome-python CVS module, and tell
me how well it works for them, I would be grateful.

James Henstridge.
