Greetings.
I just finished installing pygtk 0.5.9, and I am having some difficulties
wih it. It frequently aborts and core dumps with the error message
Gdk-ERROR **: an x io error occurred
The error occurs at seemingly random intervals, but only during some input
action such as a button press. In addition, the Python interpreter
occasionally hangs when I invoke the command "import gtk". Any ideas on
how to fix it? I'm running Python 1.5.1 and Gtk+ 1.1.9 on Redhat 5.1.
