This is a strange statement, and I am not familiar at all with "the politics
of gnome". Would you be kind enough to elaborate a bit, or give me some
pointers I could follow to better understand what you meant?
I discovered, but it took years for me to do so, that software is not as
free as it appears to be when run by committees, politicians, lawyers,
or haughty maintainers. I'm now trying to be more careful when choosing.
