Hello All,
I am afraid that I am new to both Linux (RedHat 6.1) and to python
(version 1.6) and am experiencing difficulties in installing gnome-python.
My problem is this:

I can run ./configure, make, make install from within the pygtk
directory and get no error messages. Running ./configure in the main
directory (gnome-python-1.0.53) gives no error messages. However, when I
then run make in gnome-python-1.0.53 I get the following error messages:

        gnomeuimodule.c: In function `_wrap_gtk_dialog_cauldron':
gnomeuimodule.c:1318: too many arguments to function
`gtk_dialog_cauldron_parse'
        gnomeuimodule_impl.c: In function
`_wrap_gnome_druid_page_standard_get_vbox':
        In file included from gnomeuimodule.c:1557:
gnomeuimodule_impl.c:4201: invalid type argument of `->'
        make[3]: *** [gnomeuimodule.lo] Error 1
        make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
        make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
        make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2

Can anyone help? I would be grateful for any pointers you may have
:)
        Thank you!
        Kate
