I've tried on Gnome 1.4 RC1 on RH7.0 and the problem doesn't happen. I've
had a report of the problem from a Mandrake 8.0 user (don't know if it uses
Ximian or a custom made Gnome).
Note also that changing the `About' menu item to something else the
problem is magically resolved (the `Help chat' isn't there).
