This only means it needs work, not that it's broken for life. And it's
improved a lot over the past months, so hopefully people will notice there
are others that care about these issues and want to fix them. It also has
a really cool test suite ;-)

There is a patch that implements a set of calls that allow us to use the
glib mainloop. Try it out and report to us how it went.
