I'm just evaluating GUIs for Python. Currently I'm at wxPython,
and it seems to compare well with PyGtk. I was wondering if
anyone has used wxPython on a "real" (not playing around)
project, and has any good/bad stories to tell.

I understand many would be using PyGtk because of being used to
Gtk before moving to Python, but for someone who's attempting
cross-platfrom GUI programming for the first time (with previous
experience with MFC, VB and Java-AWT), wxPython looks very, very
attractive. In particular, the comment by ESR:

"Why the hell hasn't wxPython become the standard GUI for
    Python yet?"

thanks,
-Manish
