Hi.

I' have a program that needs to run under Windows, i.e. from 98 to XP. (And under 
Linux, but
since it's development is under Linux, that's a given.)
It does run, but under Win 98 it writes 'zillions of warnings because it can't find 
the default
font. I presume that this is partly responsible for it being terribly slow, too.
So I tried to set the default font in a config file that I read with gtk.rc_parse().
As expected, this works fine under Linux. But apparently not under Windows. Neither
the font changes nor do the warnings go away. 

Any idea what I could do?

I'm using:
Python 2.3.2, win32all 163, GTK Runtime 2.2.4.1, pygtk 2.0.0.
