We're Back .... WooHoo !!!!
In C:\Windows\System I found and renamed
old versions of ....
iconv.dll
libglib-2.0-0.dll
After renaming those 2 DLLs, the helloworld.exe program
and my Python test programs under PyGTK function as expected
without any other changes ....
Now I just have to try and remember what I was trying to do
before I managed to get myself into this mess ....
