Hey all-
Can anyone tell me if there are plans for updating pygimp when Gimp 2.0
is released (seems like it will be pretty soon now as the first
pre-release was made recently).
I've been using pygimp 1.2 for quite some time now to do some
frame-by-frame video batch processing, abosultely love it, and am
concerned that I'll be left behind as the Gimp continues to grow and
change.
I've read that Gimp's backend is supposed to be abstracted from GTK+
now, but I have the understanding that the frontend has been re-written
to use GTK+ 2.0. With pygimp using pygtk1, I have a feeling that the
current 1.2 release of pygimp won't work, but perhaps can be ported to
use pygtk2?
Excuse me for being less than familiar with all of the internal
details, I'm just a simple script hacker (c:
