Hi,

Can someone point me to an example of using an offscreen pixmap to have speedy
scrolling of a drawing area in a scrolledwindow? I have a chartrecorder style program
that produces a wide drawingarea with a plot of data. I am currently using
drawingarea_expose event to redraw the data but it makes for slow, sluggish scrolling.
It seems that using an offscreen pixmap would speed things up but I am not sure how
to go about implementing this.

There may be other ways and any suggestions would be welcom.
