Hi, Can someone point me to an example of using an offscreen pixmap to have speedy scrolling of a drawing area in a scrolledwindow? I have a chartrecorder style program that produces a wide drawingarea with a plot of data. I am currently using drawingarea_expose event to redraw the data but it makes for slow, sluggish scrolling. It seems that using an offscreen pixmap would speed things up but I am not sure how to go about implementing this.
There may be other ways and any suggestions would be welcom. tia -- Luc Lefebvre In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities, in the expert's mind there are few. <Shunryu Suzuki> Key fingerprint = D2E5 5E35 B910 6F4E 0242 EC63 0FD9 96D0 C7F4 784E _______________________________________________ pygtk mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.daa.com.au/mailman/listinfo/pygtk Read the PyGTK FAQ: http://www.async.com.br/faq/pygtk/
