What do I need to know to make GNOME panel applets? I looked at this tutorial which I found in the FAQ: http://www.onlamp.com/pub/a/python/2000/07/25/gnome_applet.html?page=2 but the example code doesn't work, presumably because it's for GNOME/GTK 1.x, and I'm using 2.x.
