Hi Can someone please put me out of my misery.
I have been trying to "configure" this version and it fails on GLIB test. I have downloaded a very recent version of GLIB. I also have the Sun Gnome 2 desktop loaded and I am using it. Also have gcc etc. No matter what I do I get errors on config. Why does configure ignore the flags I send it eg ./configure --disable-glibtest still tries to test for GLIB? Also tried to ref alternative include directory and again it ignores it, WHY?? So far I have copied the .h files into /usr/include and now get configure:19199: checking for GLIB - version >= 2.0.0 configure:19349: result: no configure:19383: gcc -o conftest -g -O2 conftest.c >&5 Undefined first referenced symbol in file glib_micro_version /var/tmp//ccYDH26Y.o glib_major_version /var/tmp//ccYDH26Y.o glib_minor_version /var/tmp//ccYDH26Y.o ld: fatal: Symbol referencing errors. No output written to conftest collect2: ld returned 1 exit status configure:19386: $? = 1 configure: failed program was: | #line 19363 "configure" Any help would be useful, or is there a prebuilt package for Solaris 9 available?
