* gobject-2.0.pc could not be found, bindings for gobject will not be built
I have a feeling I'm doing something very basic wrong, which is not surprising, since this is my first package build under Windows. Could someone who has a built pygtk under Windows give me a few pointers on how to get started? I'm just trying
python setup.py build
right now, and clearly that isn't enough. Thanks in advance.

If possible, you should use gtkglext instead. It runs on linux/unix/win32 and mac OS X, and superceeds gtk.gl.
I think in Rick's case, the best option would be to package gtk.gl and distribute it separately (or with his application). It's a bit of work to package, but keeps code compatibility with his current code. I even proposed so in the relevant bug report!
Take care,
