Thanks alot for the feedback :) 

I just tried running gnome-settings-deamon under xfce, but it told me
that i could only run one instance of it per xsession. So I guess it's
running already :(

Maybe its a problem with my xfce install, I just did a real quick
install of it and didn't at all look into what options the ebuild had(im
on gentoo), i just installed and prayed for the best. Maybe I've had
some useflag that could be harmfull or something. Anyways I think it
will be way faster to just look into the xfce ebuild and check what use
options it have and if any of the ones i use could wierd things up. Then
do a recompile and try it again :D
