Hi I've followed the pygtk FAQ to create a small test Glade application (attached) that translates to hebrew. when running it from linux with 'LANG=he_IL python hebtest.py' everything get translated just fine.
I've wrote this test because I have to write an application that should run on win32 (which I don't use, so I don't know how things works there). when trying to run the same command inside 'cmd', I get an error saying that "LANG..., is not a recognized command" (or something like that, I don't remember now). so I tried to run it inside a "MinGW" shell, and I get strange result: only the "quit" button get translated. all other text is in english, but the direction is correct (right to left). so my question is, how does it work on windows? do I have to create the *.mo files in windows? how can I change LANG without 'MinGW' (e.g. can I do it from within the script?)? thanx -- Haim
