I weren't able to find any. Does anybody have some pointers?

It turns out that other widgets have this problem too. I just played with
gtk.Button and there's no way to get it packed with expand and fill properties
except for the above trick. It looks like nobody needed this with
other widgets, so nobody cared much.

Even if I were able to take a hint as subtle as this :-), I can't really
do much without knowing how it works first, sorry. 

If anybody with the knowledge could point me to a proper way of expandably
and fillably packing things inside the druid page I would be most grateful.
