  More or less at the same time I had branched gnome-python too, but
just kept quiet about it :)

  If there ever was an API you missed in gnome-python, now is the time
to file a bug report!  Patches are welcome, but just saying 'function
xyz is missing' is good too.

  Next destination is GNOME 2.10[1] developer platform.  Soon we'll have
to decide (or I'll decide if there's no consensus) between:
        1- split non-devel-platform modules out of gnome-python (aka the
minimal split);
        2- split everything up, one module per package (aka the full split).

  I for one prefer the minimal split...
