The pygtk.require() is only used for requiring gtk2/gnome2 API,
which is incompatible with gtk1/gnome1 API/ABI. The 2.0, 2.2, 2.4, 2.6, etc
all have compatible API/ABI. Well, they should :-)

So the pygtk.require is only useful with '2.0' as an argument.
